Thick preformed wafers allow for construction bites on bionators, bonded RPE, etc., where thick amounts of wax are left between the occlusal surfaces. The groove in the anterior of the wax allows visualization of the bite opening and midline.

Essential for patients in the first month with fixed appliances, and for some, throughout treatment. This is white, soft "rope wax". A small dab of wax is positioned over any sharp areas to reduce tissue irritation. Instruct your patients to only use wax when a sore develops, so that the tissue will develop callous.
