A "no-mix" bracket adhesive that can be used with metal or ceramic brackets for direct bonding. Paint primer on the previously etched and dried tooth surface and the bracket pad. Place a small amount of adhesive paste with a spatula or directly from the syringe onto the bracket pad, immediately placing on the tooth, rotating the bracket to mix the adhesive and primer. Initial set time is about 5 seconds, with the final set 24 hours later. Since maximum adhesive strength is not reached for a period of time, this type of adhesive is not well suited for repositioning and rebonding brackets.
o Rely-A-Bond Primer (16gms) (019-026) The activator of the adhesive paste. Be careful not to contaminate the bottle with multiple dips of the brush that was in contact with patient saliva.
o Rely-A-Bond Adhesive Syringes (4pk) (019-027) The adhesive paste for the bonding system.
o Rely-A-Bond Etch Liquid (9gr) (019-028) 37% phosphoric acid.
