Porcelain Primer is a silane coupling agent used to improve bonding between porcelain crowns and the metal bracket.
Instructions for Use:
1.) Rinse and dry the porcelain bonding surface
2.) Etch the porcelain surface using one of the following 2 methods:
a. Apply the appropriate Hydrofluoric Acid etchant following the manufacturer's instructions
b. Sandblast the porcelain surface followed by a 60 to 90 second 37% Phosphoric Acid Etch.
3.) Rinse the etched porcelain surface with plenty of water and dry thoroughly.
4.) Apply one or two coats of porcelain conditioner to the etched porcelain surface. Wait 60 seconds. Air dry the conditioned porcelain surface to evaporate the remaining volatiles.
5.) Proceed with the cementation as instructed by the manufacturer's directions
