These square, stainless steel archwires are used to fabricate utility arches. Mark the width 2-2 at the distal of the lateral incisor brackets with an arch marking pencil. Using Angle Howe pliers, create the anterior step. Now measure the distance from the mesial of the molar bracket to the distal of the lateral incisor bracket, transferring this measurement to the previously bent archwire. Bend the posterior step, adding tipback as you wish.
