Offered in three sizes, 28mm, 34mm, 38mm. The anterior segment is made from nickel-titanium wire, allowing for alignment at the same time as intrusion and/or advancement from the utility arch. This prevents the need for another archwire to be used for alignment before engaging a 16x16 stainless steel utility archwire. The posterior segment of this preformed utility arch is made from stainless steel, allowing for the molar tipback bends and intra-oral adjustments. Place the wire in the molar bracket slots, tie-in the incisors, and then "crimp" the stainless steel tube covering the nickel titanium in the buccal segment.
