The archform templates are clear templates used to assist you in determining the correct archwire shape in the absence of scanning the models into DentalCad. Scanning and comparing the lingual shadow is more accurate, but these templates can be fairly accurate when this option is unavailable. There are three templates: one for determining the lingual shadow shape, one for determining the upper archform shape, and the last for determining the lower archwire shape.
