For tracing of x-rays, acetate is positioned onto the x-rays, with two tabs of tape on the top edge. The dull side of the acetate faces the operator. Backlighting is provided by the portable viewbox. Transportation of x-rays, acetate, light, etc. is convenient in the case housing the viewbox. Light runs on 110 volts with very little amperage. The tracing template and protractor (catalog#016-003) combination is all the operator needs to complete quality tracings. Draw straight lines, measure angles, measure millimeter lengths, drop parallels with the parallel lines in the center of the template, and trace incisors and molars with the cutouts.
